True Second (Dead Beat Seconds): Rather than a smooth running seconds hand, the hand ticks second by second. The ticking seconds hand is powered by an additional dedicated hairspring positioned near the center of the movement. Separating the hairsprings enable the movement to maintain its amplitude despite the significant additional energy required to power the jump of the seconds hand.
Case: Brushed & polished 18kt rose gold case. Blue lacquered dial with rose gold continents inlaid with a matte finish, silver dial flange. Applied rose gold index hour markers. Printed white minute/seconds track. Rose gold hands, hour & minute hands with a thin luminous strip.
Strap: Fitted on its original JLC brown alligator leather strap with a rose gold tang buckle. The strap is in excellent condition with very light signs of wear. We would comfortably grade the strap 95% condition.
Movement: Powered by a JLC in-house caliber 772, equipped with JLC's Gyrolab® balance, beats at 28,800 vph, with 36 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 40 hours.
Condition: The watch came into us in excellent condition with only slight signs of wear. We have had teh watch very lightly buffed to remove most signs of wear. The watch is now in near-new condition. Delivered in the original box with all papers.
