Factory service completed Jan/20/2023, with a factory 2 year service warranty expiring Jan/20/2025. 

Geophysic® 1958 Automatic Limited edition of 300 pieces. A re-edition of the original model which was produced by JLC for scientists of the International Geophysical Year in 1958. The original Geophysic watch was designed to withstand extreme conditions, the watch boasted anti-magnetic & anti-shock qualities and very reliable accuracy, all a huge advancement back in 1958. This re-edition captures the spirit of the original watch, although with a more generous case size & a newer more advanced movement.

Case: Brushed & polished 18kt rose gold case. White dial with very fine grained finish. Applied rose gold hour markers. Polished rose gold hands, the hour & minute hands with vintage colored luminous fill. Luminous dot hour markers on the brushed finished rose gold case ring surrounding the dial (beneath the crystal). Fine printed minute/seconds track. 

Strap: Fitted on its original JLC brown alligator leather strap with a rose gold tang buckle. The strap is in very good condition with plenty of wear time life-span remaining, we would rate the strap as being in 90% condition. 

Movement: Powered by a Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 898/1 which beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 30 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 43 hours. 

Condition: In excellent near-new overall condition. The watch came back from a complete JLC factory service in January 2023 & has not be worn since . As part of the factory service the watch was polished to remove most signs of wear. We would be comfortable rating this watch in an overall 97%+ condition. Delivered in its original box & with all original papers & certificates. Included is a copy of the factory service letter & a JLC branded service pouch.
