55th Anniversary 1960-2015 - Limited & numbered edition of 500 pieces.

An early production piece with the original SEIKO logo at the top of the dial & GS GRAND SEIKO logo at the bottom of the dial. Subsequent models did away the original SEIKO logo.

Case: Brushed & polished stainless steel case. Blue dial with featuring a very fine/light repeating GS logo pattern & a lacquered finish. Brushed & polished faceted hour & minute hands. Polished central seconds hand. Applied brushed & polished faceted index hour markers. Fine printed minute/seconds track.

Bracelet: Fitted on its original GS brushed stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. The bracelet is fully linked & will fit up to an 8" (20.5cm) wrist.

Movement: Powered by a Grand Seiko caliber 9S61A, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 33 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 3 days (72 hours). Fitted with a blue anodized titanium rotor.

Condition: This watch is excellent near new condition. We have had the watch very lightly & carefully spot-buffed to remove most light signs of wear that were present, however an effort was made to maintain the original factory 'zaratsu' finishing. The watch beats strong & keeps accurate time. We would now grade this watch at 96%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original special edition 55th Anniversary box with all papers & certificate.
