This watch is crafted from bronze, a material that naturally darkens over time as it oxidizes. Each piece develops its own unique patina, eventually settling into a rich, deep hue. While the watch shows virtually no signs of wear in terms of scratches or dents, oxidation has developed on both the case and the tang buckle. This patina will continue to evolve naturally, enhancing the character of the watch.
Case: Brushed bronze case with polished beveled corners. Red aluminum uni-directional diving bezel. Red dial. Polished gold-plated hands with luminous fill. Applied polished gold-plated hour markers with luminous fill. Printed minutes/seconds track on the dial flange. Date window between 4 & 5 o'clock.
Straps: Delivered with 2 strap & tools necessary to change the straps.
- Fitted on its original brown raw-hide calfskin leather strap with a bronze tang buckle. The strap is in excellent new new condition with the vast majority of its wear lifespan remaining. We would be comfortable rating this strap as in 96%+ condition.
- Delivered with an additional Bell & Ross original black rubber strap. This strap is unworn in new condition with its full wear lifespan remaining.
Movement: Powered by a Bell & Ross calibre BR-CAL.302 (base Sellita SW300-1) which beats at 28,800 vph, contains 25 jewels & has power reserve of +/- 38 hours.
Condition: This watch is in excellent near new condition. We have had the watch lightly buffed to remove most signs of wear & restore the bronze luster. We would be comfortable rating this timepiece in a 97%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original PELI water resistant case with all papers.
