Mechanical Depth Gauge:
- The X Fathoms features a mechanical depth gauge function that utilizing an amorphous metallic membrane to sense water pressure changes. The water makes contact with the membrane via a series of grille openings in the watch case.
- Depth related indications in orange & blue colored luminous paint.
- Depth indicator 0-15 meters, with an accuracy of up to 30cm, on the dial perimeter with a blue luminous tipped arrow-head hand.
- Depth indicator 0-90 meters at center of dial with an orange luminous tipped hand.
- 5 minute retrograde decompression timer located between the 10 & 11 o'clock, activated by the button at 10 o'clock.
- Center hand with red rectangle top records/memorizes the max depth of your dive. The protected button at 8 o'clock resets the maximum recorded depth hand.
- Fitted with an injected rubber strap comprised of 14 articulated components to ensure a perfect fit on the wrist yet allows water to seep in under the watch in order to make contact with the depth gauge membrane.
Case: Brushed finished titanium case. Uni-directional bezel with green colored luminous dive scale, protected by a domed scratch resistant sapphire-crystal cap. Helium escape valve at 10 o'clock. Black dial. Matte finished time related hands with luminous fill. Bold luminous painted hour markers in a combination of numerals & dots.
Strap: Fitted on its original Blancpain black rubber strap with a titanium tang buckle. The strap is in excellent new-new condition with the majority of its wear lifespan remaining. We would rate the strap in 95%+ overall condition.
Movement: Powered by Blancpain caliber 9918b, composed out of 411 parts, with a silicon balance spring, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 48 jewels & has an impressive power reserve of 120 hours (5 days).
Condition: This watch is excellent near-new condition. We have had this watch lightly buffed to remove most signs of wear. We would now be comfortable rating this watch in 97% overall condition. This watch is delivered in a large orange, Blancpain branded, genuine Peli water resistant carrying/storage case & with all papers.
