BLING ! The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph Pave
Calling this a statement piece would be an understatement.
While most serious watch collectors are men, Audemars Piguet recognized in 1976 that women are going to want to grab a piece of the action and AP has been doling out ladies watches by the dozen. Certainly, the ladies at the SIHH were happy to see the unveiling of this one. Audemars Piguet literally painted this Royal Oak Chronograph with diamonds from head to toe.
From the brushed 18kt rose gold finish on the bracelet and case to the polished beveled edges the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph 41mm watch Model #: 26322or.zz.1222or.01 is all about ego. If you're not crazy about the pink hues of rose gold, there is also a white gold 39mm version model # 25978bc.zz.1190BC.01. These two models have sapphire hour markers. The pink gold version features orange sapphire hour markers while the white gold model uses blue sapphires to offset their cool blue subdials. See image below.
Literally, hundreds of sparkling round brilliant cut high clarity IF diamonds weighing over 7 carats total outshine anything around you by a landslide. The pave diamond dial contains 230 diamonds, the diamond bezel is set with 40 diamonds and the diamond case and bracelet with another 696 diamonds for a whopping total of 966 diamond, that's a total of over 7 carats (give or take....lost count after 700 or so). If they were able to use diamond screws and diamond bracelet links, they probably would have since that seems to be the only empty space not covered with diamonds on this watch.
Over 7 carats of bling delivered in yet another Royal Oak watch from Audemars Piguet chronograph. While this is probably the type of luxury watch that Fetty Wap would wear casually on an average day, this may be considered too much bling to some people who just can't handle it. However, if you would like to take "putting on the Ritz" to a whole new level, it comes with a list price of $190,200.00.
When it comes to the AP RO, Audemars Piguet has been at it since 1972 and has been their most iconic watch …even with the screws on the outside of case which in '72 was considered a grande faux pas, it became Audemars Piguet's signature look. Below is yet another diamond encrusted AP Royal Oak Chronograph with a 39mm case, this one is Model# 26322or.zz.1222or.01 with a list price of $153,200.00.
